Gartner published its "2021 Vendor Rating: IBM report1" in early June, and we're pleased to report that Red Hat received an overall positive rating* from Gartner. We believe we received the rating because we remain focused on delivering the Red Hat portfolio of open hybrid cloud products and services with IBM as one of many strategic partners that help us deliver the offerings for digital transformation that our customers need.

Red Hat's partner ecosystem is one of our strengths

Red Hat has designed its open hybrid cloud portfolio to provide customers with an IT environment that meets today's and tomorrow's needs. That means that we go to market with partners like AWS, Dell, HPE, Microsoft and, yes, IBM.

We believe in working well with our partners to meet our customers where they are today and to help them get where they need to be. To do that, we offer a platform that's consistent across environments from on-premises to cloud to the edge.

Red Hat works with more than 4,900 certified ISVs and we currently have more than 5,500 tested, verified and supported hardware components.

Speed, stability and scalability

Red Hat's portfolio is designed to provide a flexible platform that provides the speed, stability and scalability that organizations need to sustain and grow their business.

This is across the portfolio, from our open platforms like Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat OpenShift, automation with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, developer tools including Red Hat Runtimes, Red Hat CodeReady and Red Hat Integration.

But tools alone aren't enough. Red Hat Consulting is there to train and assist our customers in running their business and innovating with Red Hat's portfolio combined with our partners' offerings.

To achieve the speed that they need, some of our customers are looking to our managed services. They want to be able to spin up Red Hat OpenShift on their choice of public cloud. Or to tap into cloud services that help manage APIs, train and test Machine Learning (ML) or use technologies like Apache Kafka without having to stand them up and manage them themselves

Enabling cloud-native development

At Red Hat we look to supply the platform, the tools, the insights and practices as a coherent set of offerings to help accelerate digital transformation.

Red Hat OpenShift, our enterprise Kubernetes platform, helps give IT operations the tools to enable developers and the tools developers need to develop and deliver cloud-native applications. We go well beyond Kubernetes and containers to provide or enable management, security features and policy enforcement as well as the insights needed to view and improve performance.

Automated code building, CI/CD, IDE integration, service catalogs—we are there with the tools developers need to be productive. And we have the tools operators require to support the organization's developers with self-service capabilities that lower barriers to pushing applications to production—as well as updating and improving applications serving the organization today.
