Sophos has been named a “leader” in the Forrester Wave™: Endpoint Security Suites, Q2 2018. Sophos has scored a “5 out of 5” in the criteria for malware prevention, exploit prevention, prevention efficacy, end user experience, and admin experience.
The machine learning capabilities now included in Intercept X were also cited and the report noted that:

Sophos believes that the report reflects the strong positive feedback from customers and partners, validating the recent malware and exploit prevention tests by MRG Effitas.
While Forrester stated that “Customer satisfaction is very high for both the admin experience and low impact to endpoint performance,” Forrester noted the absence of EDR, which Forrester noted will be available in an upcoming release.
