Micronotes is a PaaS cloud-based marketing automation company that helps with targeted, automated interview technology that combines machine learning-driven analytics and in-branch sales interviews. The company is lead by Devon Kinkead, CEO, and Christian Klacko, COO. In 2005, when Devon sold his first technology startup, Extraction Systems, to Entegris for a profit of 5.5x paid-in capital, he was invited to head up one of their leading lines of business. While at the helm, he grew sales of the $85MM business unit to18% over industry growth. Devon holds 15 patents and has authored 16 articles for technology publications.

Prior to Micronotes, Christian served as a Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Akoura Biometrics Inc. where he implemented sales, marketing and business development functions across multiple business verticals. Christian has been on the founding team of four successful early stage startups. At Akoura, Christian enjoyed remarkable success with his expertise in establishing strategic alliances, developing and executing emerging market programs and managing business operations in domestic and international markets.

Before joining Akoura, Christian helped launch two early-stage companies in the security and wireless space — guiding them through all aspects of corporate development from the conception and formulation of strategic and tactical plans to the implementation of go-to-market strategies.

The Micronotes platform automates activities associated with building accurate customer profiles to help financial services firms optimize lead quality, cross selling and customer loyalty. Some core capabilities include:

- Ability to interview high-probability customers via online and mobile banking channels; then use the responses to improve machine learning and automatically formulate and deliver individualized offers

- Automatically send qualified referrals to branch networks, call centers, CRMs, etc

- Use of AI to measure and score customer loyalty — scores that can be used to more accurately target emails, direct mail and CRM-based marketing to specific customer needs

- Automatic campaign tracking and reporting metrics, including attributable sales

Serving 14 clients to date, Micronotes claims its platform is between one and two orders of magnitude more productive than targeted advertising.
