Animals are not disposable and as more and more people become aware of animal abuse and abandonment, saving those left behind to fend for themselves or, even worse, die, individuals and rescue groups are stepping up.  These “Before and After” photos represent a minuscule percentage of animals out there each and every day suffering in these same ways.  Thanks go out to all the good-hearted souls who will take it upon themselves to save these lives. Still, we all need to do more to help.

There are many cats, and dogs, that are looking for forever homes, where they can be loved and respected, at shelters and rescues everywhere.  If you are considering bringing a pet into your home, please remember to ADOPT DON’T SHOP. Somewhere out there is a special pet just waiting for you.
