How long does the migration take?

The migration itself can take anywhere from a week or two, to a couple of months depending on several factors.  Your Partner or our Migration Team can help you and provide a more accurate timeline for your specific migration.

What does the migration cost?

The costs depend on your current installation and the information from the Solver Cloud Migration Questionnaire. Your Partner or our Migration Team can help determine what, if any, costs will be incurred. We also offer a discount for those migrating from version 4.x to the Cloud.

What is the subscription cost?

The price of an annual Cloud subscription depends on your configuration. Your Partner or our Migration Team can help you determine the subscription cost.  We offer discounts for those migrating from version 4.x to the Cloud.

Can we migrate on our own?

Yes with some configurations, customers can migrate without assistance. Your Partner or our Migration Team will be able to advise you if you can migrate on your own or if you should use help from your Partner or Solver.

Will I be able to integrate to my new Cloud ERP?

Yes, our Cloud software integrates to many data sources and we have several pre-built Connectors to popular Cloud ERP systems. Your Partner or our Migration Team can advise you on connectivity to your new cloud ERP.

Will I be able to integrate to my on-premise ERP?

Yes, our Cloud software integrates to many data sources including on-premise ERP systems or other on-premise data sources. Your Partner or our Migration Team can advise you on connectivity to your on-premise ERP.

What is required from my IT department?

Generally speaking if you migrate from version 4.x to the Cloud there is little involvement needed from IT. The Finance team usually will need to test any reports and/or input forms you have in 4.x that you want to migrate to the Cloud.  In some cases report/forms may need to be updated because the Cloud technology is far advanced from the technology 4.x is built upon.

Will my existing forms and reports work?

In many cases your existing forms and reports will work just fine. However in certain configurations your reports and/or forms may need updating.  Your Partner or our Migration Team can help determine if any updates are needed to the reports and forms you want to migrate.
